about me

first week of school is over! i still fell asleep during lectures though :( it was so hard to stay awake! maybe i'm not used to waking up early yet.. sigh..

finally saw for the first time the procedure of killing a mouse and dissecting it. it was quite gross.. the skin looked like just a piece of cloth when it was cut and the heart was still beating even after all the organs were exposed to us :x poor thing. we even had to grind the thymus and spleen of the mouse! at first the sua ku us didn't know how to do it and we just pounded the organs like how the nyonya pounded the spices. in the end that was wrong hahaha! oh my.

anyway, we saw a handsome guy in the lab. whooo! i think he's from kazakhstan :) my fellow float dancer is also from that country and she's really pretty too! how come nowadays i see so many kazakhstanis around in school. today another 2 of them came to join us in contemp dance too! i heard it's a very troublesome journey to come to singapore from kazakhstan. my float friend said they have to fly to bangkok first before flying for another 6 hours to kazakhstan because there isn't any direct flight from singapore. whats so attractive about singapore for them to come all the way here? :x

yesterday was the chingay full dress rehearsal! glad everything went smoothly and we did a great job! :) my costume was alright.. i won't say it looked ugly coz it was the nicest in our contingent already. but we were still quite sian because we saw even nicer costumes from other contigents! my headgear was so heavy it almost killed me. it was like the ring on the monkey king's head and i was in so much pain! imagine i had it on for half the day :( i don't understand why i felt so tired although i didn't even have to walk! i hope i won't be so lethargic on the actual day coz all of us can't afford to look unglam at all! SO MANY cameras around omg. yesterday so many photographers climbed up the float to take photos of us :x the "chik-gi chik-gi" sounds with the crazy flashes made me feel like some celebrity HAHAHA. i wouldn't mind posing for the photographers but sometimes they wouldn't even ask and just started taking photos of us! there were even photographers taking photos of us eating and sleeping by the road and i must have looked damn unglam coz i remembered spreading out my legs. omg. i hope those photos won't hit the nanyang chronicles or else i might have to wear sunglasses to school. haha! now i really pity celebrities. they have to maintain their image in public all the time and i think it's really tiring :x seriously.

okay! i shall start my revision now :) nerds seem to be the coolest people around these days.
